KEEP THE BEAST INSIDE.
Though a quiet year for us at Krakin, we found ourselves tasked with developing a music video unlike anything we’ve touched before. Diving into the mind of the heavy psychedelic trance that emits out of the band SCARES.
A hint of vintage, on par with Giallo slashers of the 70s. Intense hues, heavy shadows, and occultic worship to build the atmosphere of this project.
As quoted by one of the band members: “The Cheesier the Better.”
Through Director Adam Jurić and Production Designer Danaë Grieef, the set design and props presented in the video play as much of a character as the entire cast present. Druidic symbols and branches, mixed with witch-like bobbles and a demonic summoning as a cherry on top.
The video was shot at Magnet Studios in Coburg North. An artist-owned recording studio that caters to all audio-visual artisans of songwriting. A welcoming haven that we recommend any bands or performers to book a session at.
